Lírica, London

A sustainable solution for a new restaurant in London’s West End

18. 02. 26

Our latest project saw us returning to London’s iconic Cumberland Hotel - a property with real rock and roll history in the heart of London’s West End.

Lírica is one of a series of new openings at the hotel - this contemporary Spanish restaurant and bar serves up small plates, authentic flavours and great drinks in a stylish, warm and welcoming environment. This project was particularly exciting as it shows what can be achieved with clever design and refurbishment of existing furnishings - a smart and sustainable way to bring a fresh feel. It was a pleasure to work once again with Abi Perry Jones of Jones AD, whose redesign of this space has created something very special.

We transformed armchairs, side chairs, bar stools and lounge stools by reupholstering in some fantastic fabrics and faux leathers - the soft peach, terracotta and blush tones used for the furniture work perfectly with the olive and deep green shades used on the walls and ceilings throughout this space.

Our Charlotte lounge chair was reupholstered in soft plum chenille fabric with the outer back in garnet faux leather, sitting perfectly next to our Atlas lounge chair which was reupholstered in tan faux leather and a striking printed fabric, also seen on reupholstered curved sofas alongside.

The new space is elegant, stylish and comfortable - a great spot to enjoy drinks with friends before moving to the dedicated dining area of the warm, sociable and design-led destination. This project is a great example of how smart design can transform a space in a sustainable way - it’s fantastic to see our furniture given a new lease of life in this central London restaurant.

It was a pleasure to supply restaurant furniture for this busy, buzzy restaurant. Be first to hear details of our next projects by joining our mailing list or following us on Instagram.
