The great outdoors: our pick of the best outdoor furniture for hospitality this summer

Despite a damp start to 2024, it seems our appetite for dining and drinking al fresco remains strong, with demand for outside spaces high over recent years. Hotel, bar and restaurant operators have continued to invest in quality outdoor furniture, finding that the additional seating is used for much of the year, with many pieces suitable for double duty, also working well for inside settings.

We’ve added some standout new pieces this season, with seating, sofas & tables all suitable for dining on the terrace of the restaurant, sipping cocktails at the bar in the sunshine or even lounging by the pool at the hotel.

There are lots of new options this year, from bar stools and lounge chairs to sofas, tables and stackable seating for maximum flexibility. Choose from beautiful natural timber, sustainably produced polypropylene or lightweight powder-coated metal frames. Find upholstered sofas to sink into, weatherproof fabrics and finishes to suit every project, and chairs finished with slick woven seats and backs to bring a contemporary touch.

The Lisa Filo Nest Armchair features a slimline tubular frame, generously shaped woven backrest and padded seat, with an option to include a supportive backrest cushion. The Arena collection is a great choice for a hotel, bar, restaurant or other commercial space. The sleek curved frame is made from galvanised wire, polyester powder-coated in a colour of your choosing, featuring a distinctive decorative pattern. Suitable for outdoor, indoor and contract use, it comes with a generously padded seat and an optional cushion for extra comfort.

A stylish leaf-shaped backrest inspires the name of the Mentha collection. With a clear visual connection to the natural world, each of the pieces shares sleek harmonious lines and is made using sustainable materials - certified recycled plastic, a progressively evolved material.
