St George's Park Hotel, Burton upon Trent

Our recent project took us to an important location for England football fans - St George’s Park is the FA’s national football centre and the home of England teams.

This contemporary hotel is also fully open for other sports teams, leisure stays and business trips.

Working on this project added an extra edge to our pre-tournament excitement ahead of the Euros - with the hotel regularly hosting England’s football teams, we’re hoping that Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane or Bukayo Saka might have an opportunity to relax in comfort on the pieces we created or enjoy a drink at the bar on our Giotto Bar Stool.

The hotel is a leading venue in the area for conferences and events. Our Papas Side Chair looks great in a newly redesigned meeting and dining space. As well as being stackable, it's available with a sledge base or four legs, so if your meeting runs into extra time you can be sure your audience will still be sitting comfortably.

The executive lounge has a sleek new look, with our bespoke lounge chairs and sofas upholstered in shades of red, white and blue - what could be more appropriate for a hotel at St George’s Park, the home of English football? Our bespoke Duroc chair is upholstered in deep marine blue, with a striking silhouette - the deep curved back and cushioned seat make this a great option for a lounge, lobby or bar.

Our bespoke Bond chair features the same deep blue velvet upholstery on the inner back and seat, in contrast with the geometric patterned blue Skopos fabric used to on the outer back. This sits perfectly alongside our bespoke Yoisho sofa with clean lines and a streamlined shape upholstered in a rich ruby red velvet fabric. Textured bouclé fabric in chalk white was used to upholster our bespoke Holland lounge chair, with legs and arms in contrasting black-stained wood. 

We loved having the chance to create bespoke items for this project - you can see how we developed these pieces from initial render to finished piece. 

We also created three bespoke coffee tables, made from curved oak veneered plywood finished in black, while our Ikon high tables are also finished in black to work well with our Giotto bar stools which are upholstered in dusky rose faux leather with black powder-coated frame.

The hotel's terrace is an ideal spot for guests to sit back and unwind. To enhance the experience, we supplied our super comfortable Panarea Outdoor Armchair. Featuring a sleek frame and Italian hand-woven cord seat, both finished in a modern gunmetal grey, it brings a touch of Mediterranean chic to the space.

And while we’re all hoping that football will be coming home if the team continues to progress at the Euros, we’re pleased to say that our bespoke pieces are made right here in the UK - something that’s always been our goal.
