Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh - Terrace Café

A fresh new look for a favourite Edinburgh destination.

17. 01. 23

Edinburgh’s famous Royal Botanic Garden is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, so we were delighted to supply furniture for the refurbished Terrace Café.

Anyone who has visited in the past will know what a transformation this is - the café has a really stylish new look which works perfectly in its setting at the heart of the Botanics.

Our Meg Lounge Chairs look great upholstered in rust and pale green Camira fabrics - contrasting beautifully with our bespoke Polly sofa in a bold Amazon print fabric.

The contrast in colours and textures continues in one of our favourite spots - our Tribeca Stools in salmon pink lined up against lustre-glazed tiles in a deep sea green. The whole design uses pinks, greens and natural wood finishes to give a light, airy feel to this space which opens out onto a south-facing terrace with views of Edinburgh’s iconic skyline.

There’s a different mood in another area of the café where dark walls contrast with our Bette Armchair in solid ash stain - the steamed oak finish gives a cool contemporary Nordic vibe which we love.

We supplied another bespoke piece for this area - this time our Branning sofa in a light sea green Camira fabric. The sofa is framed in black to work perfectly alongside our Meru chairs in a quieter, atmospheric part of the venue.
