Coventry City FC

We’re big football fans here at Furniture Fusion, so a recent project to supply furniture for a Premier League team’s flagship superstore was one that we loved working on right from kick-off .

Coventry City Football Club’s new shop, the COV Store, is 15,000 square feet spread over two floors at the Coventry Building Society Arena - making it one of the most impressive retail stores in the Premier League. Alongside plenty of opportunities for fans to snap up replica shirts and other merchandise, the store is also home to the incredible The Race Experience with TGR Haas F1® Team.

This exciting collaboration between teams from F1® and the Premier League brings the pinnacle of motorsport to the UK’s Motor City, including plenty of seating and a bar area. Our Coco armchairs feature throughout - supplied here with seat and backs upholstered in a tweed effect, grey multi-tone fabric and also in a smoke grey faux leather. In both cases the chairs have a metal frame finished in anthracite grey, but this popular piece is also available with a solid beech wood frame.

We also supplied tables throughout the space, from compact round and square-topped dining tables to high zinc-topped tables with a striking concrete base. We also supplied long zinc-top tables with distinctive Eames bases, positioned for a great view of the racing simulators.

It’s no secret that we love an opportunity to create a custom piece, so were delighted to create bespoke poufs for this project. They work really well alongside the Coco armchairs, with the poufs upholstered in the same textured fabric and finished with contrast piping.

In contrast to the rest of the space, there’s a quiet corner with its own distinctive, retro design - perhaps a nod to the two-tone sound which originated in Coventry in the late 1970s. Complete with a graphic black and white wall print, it’s a perfect spot whether you’re taking time out from shopping or even planning a podcast. Our Morelia lounge chairs add a touch of vintage style to the space - fully-upholstered in tan faux leather and with a solid beech frame, they work well in any bar, lobby, lounge or hotel.
