Furniture for a new-look lobby, lounge and bar at a busy airport hotel
Our latest project saw us returning to Europe’s busiest airport once again, this time creating and supplying seating, sofas and tables for a transformational new look at the Sheraton Heathrow hotel.
The redesigned public areas include a lobby, lounge and bar, welcoming international travellers, business guests and airline crews. We love the colour palette of soft cream, tan and indigo, and the range of textures and fabrics used to create a relaxed, inviting environment. The end result is a fresh and contemporary space which now functions as a vibrant social hub at the heart of the hotel, allowing guests to relax, work, eat and drink in stylish surroundings.
We supplied some of our most popular pieces, like the sleek Joanne armchair and Rimo lounge chair alongside some newer pieces like the Mys lounge and side chairs.
The Mys collection features a pleated upholstery detail which we saw in Milan earlier this year - we predict this is going to be very popular over the coming months, so were excited to supply it here upholstered in beautifully soft velvet. Other statement pieces are used throughout the space, like the sleekly curved Manila sofa and Juna coffee tables with a conical base.
The new look includes some of our favourites such as the Seg lounge chairs and Anya coffee table, but we were also pleased to be able to create bespoke pieces, like the large co-working table which sits at the heart of the lobby area. Surrounded by our mid-century style Egadi side chairs, there’s now plenty of space for guests to work or meet with colleagues and clients.
And when it’s time to relax, guests can settle into one of our Milena sofas or stretch out on the contemporary curves of our Manila sofa. There’s plenty of lounge chair seating or they can choose to enjoy a bite to eat or a drink in the lobby bar where our Mys lounge chair looks fantastic upholstered in deep indigo velvet alongside white Levanto marble laminate-topped tables.
